Well-known local photographer and picture framer, Tim Clarke, celebrated the 20th anniversary of his thriving business, Country Pictures, in December 2010 and launched a new photographic studio in his gallery at the picturesque Whipley Manor Farm, near Bramley, Surrey.
"This is such an exciting time for me and I am delighted to be able to expand my picture framing business to include another passion in my life – photography," Tim commented. Tim has always been a keen amateur photographer, and recently started to take commissions from customers to photograph themselves and their families. "The results have been spectacular, and customers have been particularly pleased to be able to have their chosen shots framed too, and this has made me realise the total synergy between my two businesses," he continues.
One recent customer, who had a photographic shoot of her family, commented: "Tim was wonderful at putting us all at ease and making it a fun and enjoyable experience. We have some fantastic photos to treasure and to complete the service, I chose a number of them to be printed and framed. They are fantastic, I would certainly firmly recommend Tim's photographic services to everyone – a fast, reliable and friendly approach."
The studio is set in Country Pictures' beautiful gallery in the 300-year old barn at Whipley Manor Farm, which Tim Clarke restored himself, complete with beams and wood burning stove. "It provides the perfect cosy setting for relaxed family photo shoots," concludes Tim. Country Pictures also runs art and photography classes and children's birthday parties at the studio.
