THE FINE Art Trade Guild is hosting this year’s Art & Framing Industry Awards event, which is also a celebration of the Guild’s centenary, at the Holiday Inn, Stratford-Upon-Avon, on 15 May.

Booking a table is the perfect way to thank good customers and cement important business relationships. Last year Alpha 1 Marketing took a group to the event, as best-selling artist Mary Ann Rogers reports, ‘I had a fantastic time and was on the dance floor all night. It was very inspiring to meet the other Alpha 1 artists.’ Christina Scurr GCF, Manse Studio, has attended the event several times, ‘It’s great fun and a good excuse for a jolly. It’s definitely worthwhile for the networking too; I talk to suppliers, customers, potential customers and fellow traders who share the same challenges and frustrations as me.’

The glamorous black-tie evening kicks off at 7pm with a cocktail reception, sponsored by Besso Limited, and a preview of the Framing Awards finalists. Guests then enjoy a three-course dinner in the ballroom, followed by the awards presentations, then dancing to a live band. The hotel bar remains open until dawn. Guests may check in to the hotel from 3pm and make use of the leisure and sports facilities, including pool, sauna and beauty salon.

Tickets cost £70 a person for dinner only, and £235 for two people to stay overnight and enjoy a full English breakfast (+ VAT). To reserve places contact Louise Hay, louise@fineart.co.uk
